Privacy Policy

1. About This Policy

This policy explains how Crius Endurance Pty Ltd (ABN 79 698 593 207), trading as CRIUS Endurance ("we", "us"), collects, uses, shares and protects your personal information when you visit criusendurance.com.au, buy from us, or join our emails. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). By using our website, you agree to this policy.

2. What We Collect

• Contact and order details: your name, email address, phone number, delivery address, what you ordered, and whether you chose a one-off order or a subscription.
• Payment details: card and payment details are entered directly into our payment processor, Stripe (or Klarna or Zip if you choose to pay later). We never see or store your full card number.
• Email sign-ups: your email address and, if you choose to tell us, your sport (for example running, riding, triathlon or hybrid training).
• Messages: anything you send us by email, including feedback and reviews.
• Website activity: pages viewed, products added to your cart, checkout steps, device and browser type, approximate location, IP address and the ad or link that brought you to us. This is collected with cookies and similar technologies (see section 6).

We don't ask for health information, and we don't knowingly collect information from children under 16.

3. How We Use It

• To process, ship and support your orders and subscriptions.
• To send order confirmations, shipping updates and other service emails.
• To send marketing emails if you've opted in (for example by joining our email list or ticking the box at checkout), including reminders about items left in your cart or checkout.
• To answer your questions and handle returns or refunds under our First Pouch Guarantee.
• To measure how our website and ads perform, and to show our ads to people likely to be interested.
• To prevent fraud and keep our website secure.
• To meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations.

4. Who We Share It With

We don't sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers that help us run the business, and only what they need:

• Stripe, plus Klarna and Zip if you use them: payments and subscriptions.
• Klaviyo: our email platform, which stores your email preferences and sends our emails.
• Vercel: hosts our website.
• Google: Google Analytics (website measurement), Google Ads (advertising and conversion tracking) and Google Merchant Center (product listings).
• Google Customer Reviews: after you order, Google may invite you to review your purchase. If you agree, we share your email address, order number, delivery country and estimated delivery date with Google so it can send you a short survey. Your review is then handled under Google's privacy policy.
• Meta (Facebook and Instagram) and TikTok: advertising and conversion measurement. When you buy, we send Meta order details with your contact details in scrambled (hashed) form so it can match the sale to an ad without receiving them in readable form.
• Fulfilment and delivery partners, including the team that packs your order and couriers such as Australia Post: your name, address and phone number to deliver your order.
• Our professional advisers, and government authorities where the law requires it.

5. Overseas Storage

Several of these providers (including Stripe, Klaviyo, Vercel, Google, Meta and TikTok) store or process data outside Australia, mainly in the United States, and may also use facilities in Europe and Asia. We choose established providers that protect personal information with their own security and privacy programs.

6. Cookies and Tracking

Our website uses cookies, pixels and your browser's local storage to keep your cart, remember whether you've seen our email pop-up, measure site traffic (Google Analytics), and measure and target our ads (Google Ads, the Meta Pixel and the TikTok Pixel). Klaviyo also tracks site activity for people who have given us their email, so we can send relevant emails such as a cart reminder.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, although your cart may not be saved. You can also manage ad personalisation through Google Ad Settings, your Facebook or Instagram ad preferences, and TikTok's ad settings, and opt out of Google Analytics with Google's browser add-on.

7. Marketing Emails

We only send marketing emails if you've opted in. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link, or you can email us at hello@criusendurance.com.au and we'll remove you. We'll still send emails about orders you've placed and any active subscription.

8. Security and Retention

Our website runs over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection, payments are handled by Stripe, and access to order information is limited to the people who need it. No online service is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access.

We keep order records for as long as Australian tax law requires (generally five years), and other personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes above or until you ask us to delete it.

9. Accessing or Correcting Your Information

You can ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing hello@criusendurance.com.au. We'll respond within 30 days. We may need to confirm your identity first, and we may keep some records where the law requires us to.

10. Complaints

If you have a concern about how we've handled your personal information, please email hello@criusendurance.com.au and we'll respond within 30 days. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as our business or the law changes. The latest version will always be on this page, with the date it was last updated.
